A Resolution

To recognize the week of December l, 2002 to December 7, 2002 as AIDS Awareness Week at Capital University.

Section 1.

Whereas the Capital University Community Service Advisory Council is performing educational and awareness based activities about AIDS during the week of December l, 2002 to December 7, 2002.

Section 2.

Whereas AIDS is an unfortunate and increasingly prevalent disease.

Section 3.

Whereas there is a need to raise the level of intelligence about AIDS to prevent its proliferation.

Section 4.

Whereas December Ist is recognized as World AIDS Day by groups around the world.

Section 5.

Whereas the Capital University Student Government recognizes the week of December 1, 2002 to December 7, 2002 as AIDS Awareness Week at Capital University.
