A Bill

To allocate funds to purchase items of entertainment for the campus community.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT SENATE OF CAPITAL UNIVERSITY:

Section 1.

That Capital University lacks the comradery and school spirit among its students and is in need of a way to bring the students together more so.

Section 2.

That the central gathering locations on campus for students are lacking in sufficient means of entertainment for the typical university environment.

Section 3.

That the amount of $500.00 be allocated from the Finance, Planning & Development Committee for the purchase of three foose ball tables. The tables will be located in the Saylor?Ackerman lounge, SS lobby, and the Cotterman lobby.

Section 4.

That the amount of $750.00 be allocated from the Finance, Planning & Development Committee for the purchase of one pool table including a set of accessories to be located in the Saylor?Ackerman lounge.

Section 5.

That the amount of $1,600.00 be allocated from the Finance, Planning & Development Committee for the purchase of a flat screen TV to be located in the Conservatory - Fish Bowl.

Section 6.

That the amount of $1,750.00 be allocated from the Senate General Fund for the purchase of a big screen TV to be located in the SS lounge.

Section 7.

That the amount of $400.00 be allocated from the Senate General Fund for the purchase of a digital camera that will be donated to Information Technology in order for more technology to be accessible for students and student organizations.

Section 8.

That the total of $5,000.00 may be used to cover any overlapping expenses of the purchases and that the said funds left over from the designated money are to be placed back into the Senate General Fund.
