Meal Plan Change Notification

ALL First Year (Freshman) and Transfer (those with 15 or fewer hours) students living on campus are required to have the 225 meal plan for the Fall semester. Upperclass students can choose from three different meal plans, ranging from 125 meals to 225 meals per semester. Juniors and Seniors can also select the 75 meal plan.

First Year and Transfers (those with 15 or fewer hours) can submit meal plan changes at the close of the Fall 2009 semester for the Spring 2010 semester.

Upperclassmen and Transfers living on campus (those with 16 or more hours), can submit meal plan changes for Fall 2009 up until 4:00pm on Friday, September 11, 2009. All changes for the Spring 2010 semester, can be made beginning with the close of the Fall 2009 Semester and must be submitted not later than 4:00 pm on Friday, January 22, 2010.

Commuter meal plans must be arranged through Parkhurst Dining Services.

Description of Meal Plans

225 Block Plan + $50 Flex Dollars – Average of 15 meals per week

This meal plan provides super flexibility and is clearly the “best value”. With this plan, you can enjoy a total of 225 meals per semester. These meals can be used at anytime in the Capital Court and through the meal exchange option in the Crusader Club. This plan includes $50 flex dollarsthat can be used in the Crusader Club or SA Café for stocking up your room with beverages and snacks or for a guest meal in the Capital Court.

175 Block Plan + $75 Flex Dollars – Average of 11 meals per week

This plan provides flexibility and good value for the student who is the average diner. With this plan, you can enjoy a total of 175 meals per semester. These meals can be used at anytime in the Capital Court and through the meal exchange option in the Crusader Club. This plan includes $75 flex dollars that can be used in the Crusader Club or SA Café for stocking up your room with beverages and snacks or for a guest meal in the Capital Court.

125 Block Plan + $100 Flex Dollars – Average of 8 meals per week

This plan provides flexibility and value for the student who needs few meals. With this plan, you can enjoy a total of 125 meals per semester. These meals can be used at anytime in the Capital Court and through the meal exchange option in the Crusader Club. This plan includes $100 flex dollarsthat can be used in the Crusader Club or SA Café for stocking up your room with beverages and snacks or for a guest meal in the Capital Court.

75 Block Plan + $250 Flex Dollars (Juniors & Seniors ONLY) – Average of 5 meals per week

This plan provides the ultimate flexibility and value for the student who needs very few meals with more flex dollars. With this plan, you can enjoy a total of 75 meals per semester. These meals can be used at anytime in the Capital Court and through the meal exchange option in the Crusader Club. This plan includes $250 flex dollars that can be used in the Crusader Club or SA Café for stocking up your room with beverages and snacks or for a guest meal in the Capital Court.

No Meal Plan

This option is available only to those students who reside in the Capital Commons Apartments or Capital Unviersity Apartments.
