Data Projector Operation:
To turn the projector ON:
- Turn ON the Projector switch on the lectern
- Wait approximately 15 seconds
- The projector will chime once, then reach full brightness in about a minute.
To turn the projector OFF:
- Turn OFF the Projector switch on the lectern.
Note: After you shut off the projector, do not attempt to restart for at least five minutes.
To project from the classroom computer:
- Make sure the computer is ON
- Make sure the A/B/C/D switch is set to A (Computer)
To project from the VCR or Document Camera:
- Make sure the VCR and document camera are ON
- Make sure the A/B/C/D switch is set to B (VCR/Doc. Cam)
- Using the INPUT buttons on the document camera, choose INTERNAL for the document camera, or A/V 1 for the VCR.
To project from your own computer:
- Connect your computer to the loose monitor cable connected to the front of the lectern
- Set the A/B/C/D switch to C (Laptop)
This projector supports ONLY its native screen resolution, 1024 x 768 pixels.
Your computer may require a special key sequence or control panel setting to work with an external display. When in doubt, consult the manufacturer's manual.
Please turn off the projector and document camera lamps when you finish!
