Data Projector Operation:
To turn the projector ON:

Make sure the slide switch on the side of the remote control is set to ON
- Point the remote control at the projector
- Press the POWER button
Note: A blue screen with a Proxima logo will appear on the screen, along with a countdown until the projector reaches full brightness.
To turn the projector OFF:
- Make sure the slide switch on the side of the remote control is set to ON
- Point the remote control at the projector
- Press the POWER button.
This message will appear on the screen: "Power off ?"
- Press the POWER button again to shut off the lamp.
Note: After you shut off the projector, do not attempt to restart for at least five minutes.
To project from the classroom computer:
- Make sure the computer is ON
- Make sure the A/B switch is set to A (Classroom Computer)
- Point the remote control at the projector and press the COMPUTER button
To project from the VCR:
- Make sure the VCR is ON
- Point the remote control at the projector and press the VIDEO button
You will not see the video from the VCR
on the computer monitor.
To project from your own computer:
- Connect your computer to the loose monitor cable coming up through the tabletop.
- Set the A/B switch to B (Laptop Computer)
- Point the remote control at the projector and press the COMPUTER button.
This projector supports ONLY its native screen resolution, 1024 x 768 pixels.
Your computer may require a special key sequence or control panel setting to work with an external display. When in doubt, consult the manufacturer's manual.
Please turn off the projector when you finish!
