How to Change Your Blackboard Password

Users with new Blackboard accounts that are logging in for the first time are asked to change their Blackboard password from the assigned setting by following these steps. Users with existing Blackboard accounts may also follow these steps, if desired, to change their current Blackboard password.

1. Access Blackboard from your web browser at http://blackboardoln.capital.edu and login to Blackboard.
   
   
2. Click the Personal Information link in the Tools list.
3. From the Personal Information screen, click the Change Password link.
   
   
4. Type a password for your Blackboard account into the Password text box (It's okay to use the same password as your Capital email).
5. Type the same password again for verification into the Verify Password text box.
6. Click the Submit button to finish.
