Education
Capital
University's Teacher Education Program
is aligned with Ohio's performance-based assessment program, Praxis
III. Our teacher education program builds the
skills you need to be a successful teacher.
Health and Sports Sciences
The
Health and Sport Sciences majors are designed to prepare students
to pursue careers in areas such as fitness management, athletic
training, health and physical education, and to pursue advanced
degrees in areas such as exercise physiology, kinesiology, education,
and sport or health administration.
Social Work
The
Social Work Program is accredited by the Council
on Social Work Education. The program prepares students for
generalist professional social work practice with the degree of
bachelor of social work. A minor in social work also is available,
and classes are offered in the evenings and on weekends for working
adults.
Centers for Lifelong Learning
The
Centers
for Lifelong Learning (CLL), in Cleveland, Columbus and Dayton,
are specifically designed to meet the needs of working adults who
want a degree but cannot just quit their lives. You can earn an
undergraduate degree in one of 12 majors (not all majors available
at every location) or create your own unique undergraduate degree
through our Liberal
and Professional Studies offering.
