(These courses are met through the MBA Core Courses.)

MBA CORE (31 hours)**

MBA600 Business and Society (3)
MBA611 Analytical Methods for Managers (3)
MBA612 Managerial Economics (3)
MBA613 Organizational Behavior (3)
MBA614 Managerial Accounting (3)
MBA710 Marketing Management (4)
MBA720 Financial Management (4)
MBA730 Production/Operations Management (4)
MBA900 Business Policy & Strategy (4)
 

NURSING CORE (9 hours)

NUR510 Nursing Science & Theory (3)

NUR520 Advanced Nursing Research (3)

NUR530 Nursing Informatics (3)

(These courses may be taken in any
order and at any time prior to the
700 level nursing courses. These 9
hours meet the MBA Elective requirement.)

MBA ELECTIVES (8 hours)**

(These electives are met through the
Nursing Core Courses.)
 

SYNTHESIS & APPLICATION
(9 hours minimum)

NUR755 Role Development in Advanced
Practice Nursing (3)*

NUR765 Program Development in a Changing
Health Care System (3)*

NUR767 Propsal Writing (1)

SELECT ONE:

NUR770 Thesis (3 hours minimum)*
   OR
NUR785 Project (3 hours minimum)*

(These capstone courses, which build on
preceding experiences, should be taken toward
the end of the program. All 600 level
nursing core courses must be completed first.
NUR770 or NUR785 meets the MBA Project
requirement.)

MBA PROJECT (1 hour)**

(The MBA Project -- GSA799 -- is met
through NUR770 or NUR785.)
 

The minimum requirements for both these degrees when taken together are 49 semester hours. They must be completed within the degree completion guidelines of 5 years.

* Prerequisite(s) required.
** The MBA Program requires up to 20 semester hours of prerequisite courses, depending on undergraduate preparation.
