BOOKSTORE/TEXTBOOKS
Textbooks for the UD courses offered at Capital
University may be purchased on-line from the Capital Bookstore. Go to:
www.capital.bncollege.com.
Under "Choose your campus", select "University of Dayton" and follow prompts. You can have textbooks mailed to you, or have them
ready for you to pick up at the Capital Bookstore (and save shipping charges!).
Textbooks may also be purchased directly at the Capital University Bookstore
located on the first floor of the Harry C. Moores Campus Center.
Note: Textbooks for classes at the Franklin County Education Service Center are not stocked at the Capital Bookstore. To

The purpose of the University Store is to provide the
university community with the widest selection of goods and services of high
quality at equitable prices.
TEXTBOOKS
All textbooks are arranged alphabetically by subject,
and numerically by course number and section. The shelf cards include course
and section numbers, professors name and required and/or recommended
texts. It is best to purchase all books listed at the same time, since remaining
books will be returned to the publisher approximately six weeks after classes
begin. If you need assistance in locating a book, ask a bookstore
employee.
MAIL ORDERS
If you cannot make it to the bookstore during regular
hours, we will be happy to UPS your books, clothing, etc., to you at a cost
of $7.00 per package (price subject to change without
notice).
BOOK RETURN POLICY

Full refund during first ten days of
the semester, if books are in new, unmarked condition. DO NOT WRITE IN YOUR
BOOKS UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THEY ARE THE CORRECT ONES FOR YOUR CLASS. |

The bookstore is the sole judge as to whether a
book is in new or used condition. |

Special orders require a $5.00 deposit. Special
order books are not returnable. |

Defective books will be replaced at no charge and
should be returned at once. |
BOOK BUYBACK
Future buyback dates will be posted, as soon as available,
in bookstore, on UD bulletin board in the basement of the Ruff Learning Center
and on the bulletin board outside of the UD office. You can also visit our
web site for current information.
INDEPENDENT STUDIES AND SPECIAL ORDERS
Special orders will need to be placed for an independent
study or title that is not in stock. Please come to the bookstore office
prepared with author, title, publisher, and ISBN# so that we can process
your book order as quickly as possible. A typical special order takes a week
to ten days after ordering. All special orders are required to be purchased!
Therefore, a $5.00 deposit is required to process the order. The deposit
will be refunded to you under the conditions that you purchase the book and
you do so within ten days after you have been
contacted.
In addition to textbooks, the store carries a wide
selection of items including school supplies, paperbacks, magazines, reference
books, personal care items, stationery, greeting cards, newspapers, imprinted
clothing, glassware, novelties, snacks and pop. When you visit the bookstore,
do not hesitate to ask questions. We are here to serve you and welcome any
and all suggestions.
