Applicants for admission to the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions must have attained an undergraduate cumulative average of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Students whose undergraduate grade point average is less than 2.75 may be admitted if a score of 396 or higher is achieved on the Miller Analogies test (MAT) or scaled minimum scores of 430 and 490 on the verbal and analytical ability sections of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Applicants must hold a bachelors degree from an accredited institution and submit an official transcript from that institution and three references from qualified professionals in the field. Students seeking admission to the Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions are permitted to enroll for no more than six semester hours prior to being admitted. The six semester hours can be taken in different semesters. Hours completed in excess of six may not be accepted toward completion of degree requirements.
